I was gonna say something…

I was gonna say something, but I forgot what it was. Don’t you hate it when that happens? I’ve said that exact phrase out loud many times before. Looks stupid in print, but perhaps that’s just my perception.

In some news, gladstone is down for at least another day or so, so for those of you looking for Kimi’s web site, IT’S DOWN!!! HA HA HA!! The folks at the Computing Center say that gladstone (and darkwing, for those who care) will be back up Thursday or perhaps even Friday. This means that I cannot receive email at my primary account, but my old EFN account should still work. I’ll take down the .forward there so I can still get email. It’s cjb@efn.org for those who don’t know.

Since Kimi’s down and out, I’ll pimp someone else’s web site for a change: MOLLY’S!!! I read a few of her rants (it’s not really a site, just a journal), but I laughed out loud reading them. I especially loved her description of THIS site in her pilot entry. And her review of Veggie Tales. Check it out.

Last night Megs and I went out to The Wild Duck for dinner and we both had good food and a nice time. It was our one month-iversay, so I figured it was high time that we actually went out and did something about it. =) And yes, consider this the first official post about this new development in my life. Most of my readers know about this already, but for the rest of you… surprise! All is well, however, and we’re having fun just chillin’ and stuff.

Work is going well; things have slowed down quite a bit here in the Conference Services sector. We’re nearing the end of summer school and the “conference season”, yet nearing the new fall term. It’s about as dead as it gets here on campus, so that just means that it can only get more lively. I don’t really like being here with hardly any other students–it’s creepin’ me out! I can’t believe that we don’t start classes until September 30th this year! That’s almost freakin’ October! Wow, man, wow. RA fall training begins the 14th, so as per last year, I’ll be away during most of that, but I’ll try to post something here once in a while.

I’m taking two more trips this summer before I get back into the swing of things on campus for the fall. One is this weekend when I’m going down to Berkeley with my little brother, Matthew, and company to see him off to his new apartment for the school year. It’s so sad when they grow up! *sniff* My other trip I’m still trying to clear at work, but that’s gonna be for Dylan’s birthday which is in a couple of weeks. We’re goin’ camping, baby! Yeah! I haven’t been camping in a while, so this should be a lotta fun. A bunch of current/past staff members and friends are going, so it’s gonna be crazy! I wonder if Karen’s found a place yet… I just gotta switch duty with someone and I’m good to go. I still got people to call on that one, so I’m optimistic.

Well, this one has gotten quite long. I’m pretty sure “gotten” isn’t a word, but I needed something sufficiently large to describe this, since it seems I feel the need to make up for not only myself, but for Kimi’s quantity of words as well. Hope it was a good read, and look for Kimi’s site to be back by late Thursday or Friday. Chris out.

I’m sorry to say that I didn’t even read your post Chris, but I’m posting here anyway to let everyone know that I’m now safely in my appartment and that I HAVE TO START SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!
Anyway, all seems pretty well here, so I’m going to continue putting my stuff away.
