Last-Minute July Post

July 30, 2010

I made a promise to myself that if I ever missed a month in posting here, then that’d be the end of the blog. I’m not quite ready to close up shop yet, so here’s July 2010! Tomorrow morning Megs and I catch a train (yes, TRAIN) north for Portland, Oregon. We’re going up for […]

Another Summer

June 3, 2010

Another summer quickly approaches; a time for long sunny days and uncomfortably warm nights. Once again, Megs and I will be tempted to buy a free-standing A/C unit for the bedroom as we are every summer, but as usual we’ll likely not do so. Maybe this summer we’ll check out the pool on the roof […]

Moved Servers

April 8, 2010

ChrisWeb is now hosted by the good folks over at Dreamhost. I made the move last week and things seem to going OK. I changed themes too, so if you see a green header instead of a blue one, that’s why. I was growing more and more displeased with my previous hosting solution, and I’ve […]

My Birthday and More

March 12, 2010

As my previous post alluded, I recently turned 29. Here are some pictures: Chris’ 29th Birthday I miss ChrisWeb; my posting schedule here is down from more than semi-weekly to monthly at this point. I’m tempted to ditch WordPress and go back to completely home-grown, but I’m not going to for a variety of reasons. […]

Twenty-Nine Soon

February 4, 2010

It seems my 29th birthday is fast approaching and I have no idea what to do about it. Last year I was sick as a dog, so this year’s anniversary of me being born is already looking up! My last year of “twenties”, man, time flies. Seems only recently that I turned 20. Not really […]

Rose Bowl 2010

January 3, 2010

So, yesterday was the University of Oregon’s first Rose Bowl in 15 years, so Megs and I went with Mindi to go see the excitement. Can’t say I’m thrilled with the results (we lost), but overall it was a fun day. It was also my first time tailgating, which was pretty awesome. Much thanks to […]

Christmas 2009

December 28, 2009

This year, Megs and I decided not to travel far for Christmas, so instead we stayed in the greater LA area and visited mom up in the mountains and then the various relatives down in Long Beach. A great time was had by all, as well as great food. Enjoy the pictures! Christmas 2009

November 30, 2009

Last weekend Megs and I hosted Thanksgiving at our place. Mom came down from her mountain home and cooked dinner for us, Matt, Kim, Grandma & Grandpa, and Matt’s girlfriend Laurel. A good time was had by all, and much food was consumed. Behold! The photographic evidence (click to see album):

Let’s Do This

November 10, 2009

Well, it seems that blargs are going once again, (see: Kimi, Kelly, Annie), so to fend off future mocking, I post! As usual, life goes on. The past few weeks have been fairly normal, the one exception being Megs’ 30th birthday at the end of October. We gathered up the usual suspects to play laser […]

Another Quick Post

October 15, 2009

Last weekend was Grandpa Brunner’s 90th birthday, so a bunch of us gathered in Long Beach to celebrate. I took pictures of the events, and here they are:
